A Jacuzzi, synonymous with luxurious relaxation, has become a popular addition to many homes. However, arranging your garden or the surroundings of the jacuzzi also contributes to complete relaxation. Creating a pleasant and aesthetically appealing space around your jacuzzi makes for an even more enjoyable experience. We have listed some ideas on how you can raise the surroundings of your massage pool to a whole new level.
Placement of the jacuzzi in the garden or terrace
You can place your outdoor jacuzzi indoors or use it to add a finishing touch to your garden or terrace. Regardless of where you place it, pay attention to the bearing capacity of the base. Ensure easy access, and choose a location that will complement your garden but still provide enough privacy. We suggest that you sketch the garden or think in advance about how you will create the perfect ambiance around the jacuzzi on the terrace.
Wooden deck for jacuzzi
An increasingly popular layout of a massage pool is to integrate it into a larger whole. In this way, it is not just an independent “mass” in the middle of the garden, but you connect the entire ambiance into a useful, aesthetically perfect whole. It is usually a wooden structure. Alternatively, you can opt for more resistant materials, such as a combination of metal and composite materials (WPC boards or panels). Think about whether it would make sense to include stairs, deckchairs, or flower beds in this construction. Check out some pictures for inspiration.
If you decide on such a layout, we suggest that you somehow maintain access to the components of the hot tub for service purposes. Make a 50 cm wide service shaft around the hot tub or at least provide access to the control unit area, which is usually on the same side of the jacuzzi as the control panel. If access is not provided, you will need to empty the hot tub so that our service personnel can lift/move it and perform the appropriate service.
Feel like you’re in nature
Why not create a real natural environment around the jacuzzi, which will awaken your senses even more and connect your waist with nature? You can achieve this by using natural materials such as stone, wood and plants. Add some pebbles or trees to create a sense of peace and harmony with nature. Surround the jacuzzi on the terrace with a stone path, surround it with evergreens (which require little maintenance to save you work), and install garden furniture to help you relax. Comfortable furniture
The first rule when arranging the surroundings of a jacuzzi is comfort. Add some comfortable furniture such as waterproof cushions, chairs, or loungers where you can relax comfortably before or after a dip in the jacuzzi. You can choose a material that is resistant to water and weather, such as plastic, rattan, or aluminum. A sustainable and more environmentally friendly solution is wood, which acquires a patina over time, but this also adds its charm of comfort, homeliness, and connection with nature.

Privacy and shading
Get some privacy and shade around the jacuzzi. You can put up curtains that allow privacy or install shades to protect you from the sun. This will create an intimate environment and allow you to relax without disturbing views and dangerous sun rays. You can also place your massage pool under an aluminum pergola or an electronic lifting cover, which is one of the innovations on the market. Another option is a wooden pergola, where you can put fabric over the slats for better shading.
Ambient lighting of the jacuzzi and surroundings
Lighting plays a key role in creating the atmosphere around the jacuzzi in the garden. JJSPA Jacuzzis have LED RGB lighting. Some only underwater, others also ambient on the outside of the frame. The pool itself provides a magical atmosphere with lighting, and you can improve it even more with ambient lighting with decorative lights. You can use color-changing LED lights to enhance the various mood effects of the chromotherapy, or install candles for an even more intimate atmosphere. Run LED light chains over the slats of the pergola or surround flower beds with them.
Accessories for relaxation
Consider accessories that will further enhance your relaxation experience. For example, install a cup holder where you can place a drink or snack, and a place to store towels and other necessities.
Regular maintenance
Do not forget about the regular maintenance of the jacuzzi on the terrace. Regular cleaning, removal of leaves and other debris, and maintenance of furniture and equipment will ensure that your relaxation corner is always ready for enjoyment.
